Dharmika is a professional Vedic platform bringing together three disciplines: Jyotish (Vedic astrology), Vastu (harmonising space) and Ayurveda (determining your constitution). The platform is based on the classical texts and uses precise astronomical calculations from Swiss Ephemeris.

We offer an expert level of calculation that used to be available only in professional desktop software. One application holds divisions from D1 to D60, 7 dasha systems, Ashtakavarga, the full panchanga and much more. Every calculation is verified against reference data.

The platform is built for practitioners with a basic to advanced level of knowledge. For beginners we provide a detailed glossary and explanations for every calculation. That said, a basic understanding of Jyotish principles is recommended for a full interpretation of the results.

Yes, Dharmika is fully responsive for mobile devices. The interface is optimised for screens from 320px. All calculations, charts and tables display correctly on smartphones and tablets without losing functionality.

We use Swiss Ephemeris — a professional astronomical library accurate to the arc-second. All calculations are performed in the sidereal coordinate system with the Lahiri ayanamsa (Chitrapaksha). The KP, Raman and other ayanamsas are also supported.

Dharmika calculates 17 divisions (vargas), from the base Rashi (D1) to Shashtiamsha (D60), with 27 calculation methods including the alternative variants. Each varga includes planetary positions, aspects, house lords and digbala. All divisions follow the descriptions of the Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra.

Compatibility is calculated by three methods: the classical kutas (Ashtakuta, 36 points), synastry (overlaying the charts) and Sanjay Rath's method. The system analyses the matching of nakshatras, lords, planetary friendship and the position of Venus and Mars in both charts.

The Vastu section rates existing housing on a scale from 0 to 100 and designs a new space by the principles of Vastu Shastra. The system analyses the placement of the entrance, kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and other zones relative to the cardinal directions.

Yes, the exact direction of the front door is critical for a correct calculation. We recommend using your smartphone's compass while facing the front door. The system accepts the direction to the degree and determines the Vastu pada automatically.

Yes, the Vastu principles apply to flats, private houses and office spaces alike. The system adapts the recommendations to the property type. For flats it accounts for the position relative to the building's centre and the direction of the flat's main entrance.

Prakriti (the natural constitution) is determined through a structured questionnaire on physical, psychological and behavioural characteristics. The system analyses the balance of the three doshas — Vata, Pitta and Kapha — and produces a detailed report with their percentages.

No. The prakriti test is a tool for self-knowledge and gives a general understanding of your constitution. It does not replace an in-person consultation with an Ayurvedic doctor. If you have a health condition, or need medical care, be sure to consult a qualified specialist.

Yes, the test can be taken any number of times. We recommend taking it in a calm state, in the morning, answering about your usual state rather than the current one. Prakriti is an inborn constitution and does not change over a lifetime.

Dharmika offers a free plan with basic calculations and paid plans for practitioners and professionals. The "Novice" plan is free: one full calculation a month in each section. "Expert" ($19/mo) — every tool and 10 full calculations a day, "Guru" ($99/mo) — unlimited. Details are on the pricing page.

We accept bank cards through Paddle — Paddle.com is the seller (Merchant of Record) and handles payments and refunds. The subscription renews automatically and can be cancelled at any time; we never store your card details.

Yes. All data is stored on protected servers with encryption. Only you have access to your charts and calculations. We do not pass data to third parties or use it for advertising.

Yes, every chart can be exported as a PDF with the full set of tables and data. The export includes the selected divisions, the tables of planets, aspects, avasthas and Ashtakavarga. The PDF is optimised for A4 printing and for on-screen reading.

Dharmika works in all modern browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge (the latest two versions). JavaScript must be enabled for correct operation. The mobile browsers iOS Safari and Chrome for Android are fully supported.
